2) Discuss and utilize a 5-step process for evidence-based practice
3) Discuss and identify strategies for implementing evidence in participant-specific work settings
4) Discuss and identify strategies for contributing to occupational therapy's body of knowledge

8:30-9:00am: Sign-in
9:00-10:00am: Welcome and discussion about importance of evidence-based practice in current and future health care environments
10:00-11:30am: Discussion and utilization of a 5-step process of evidence-based practice
11:30-12:30pm: Lunch on own
12:30-1:15pm: Discuss and identify strategies for implementing evidence in participant-specific work settings
1:15-1:45pm: Discuss and identify strategies for contributing to occupational therapy's body of knowledge
1:45-2:00pm: Q/A and Wrap-up
The workshop will be led by Spalding University's Associate Professor Angela M. Cecil, MBA, OTR/L.
Professor Cecil teaches movement and conditions courses in the master's program and has a clinical background in acute care, inpatient/outpatient rehab, skilled nursing and home health. She has been a member of the Auerbach School of Occupational Therapy faculty at Spalding University since 2010. Her research focus is on health policy, advocacy, and inter-professional collaboration
