About DPAMs

KOTA will offer a 36 hour Hybrid DPAMs course! This Online (30 hours) and Hands-On (6 hours) course is approved by KBLOT.  The cost for this course is $500. The online portion of the course can be purchased and completed here!  The purchase price for the 36 hour Online Hybrid Course includes the 6 hour Hands-On lab day.  When purchasing the hybrid course, you will automatically be enrolled in the upcoming Hands-On lab day.

You must be a current KOTA member to attend this course!  If you're not currently a KOTA member, click here to join.

For OTs: This 36-hour hybrid course will meet KBLOT requirements for certification excluding supervised treatment sessions. 

For OTAs: This 36-hour hybrid course will need to be completed TWICE to meet KBLOT requirements for certification excluding supervised treatment sessions.

Upon completion of the course(s), the participant will need to submit all necessary paperwork to KBLOT for certification approval.

For more information about KOTA supervised treatment sessions, click here.  The supervised treatment sessions check-offs are a separate charge from the DPAMs course and are available for purchase on the KOTA website.   KOTA will offer the opportunity to obtain all 5 supervised treatment sessions for an additional cost of $25.00. This is only for those who have completed all of the coursework required for DPAMs certification  (36 hours OT, 72 hours OTA, 12 hours CHT).  
This appointment does not guarantee you will be checked off on all treatment sessions. You must be able to demonstrate the knowledge, skill, and competence in the areas identified on the KBLOT Supervised Treatment Session form as observed and approved by the supervisor.

Please bring a tank top or loose fitting shirt for the hands on lab. Lunch will be on your own, light snacks will be provided.
